STEPHEN WILLIAMS

LPC

Stephen is an LPC who has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree focused on Public Health from BYU-Idaho. His philosophy is that mental health and well-being are essential for every person and the community as a whole. He has experience working in an outpatient setting with adults dealing with various mental health issues, including schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety.

Stephen believes that every individual has the tools within themselves to make the changes they’d like to see in their lives, but sometimes they need a little help figuring out what to do with those tools. His approach is primarily non-directive due to a Person-centered and Existential orientation to therapy. He believes that the client is ultimately in control of where they want to go in therapy. He sees adults ages 18 and up.
