Anthony Jackson

LMSW, LCDC, SAP.

Anthony is a Licensed Master Social Worker, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and a Substance Abuse Professional. He completed his Master’s degree in Social Work at the University Of Houston Graduate College Of Social Work and his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University Of Houston-Downtown. He has previously provided services to adults, adolescents, and families with a variety of mental health issues in his work at IntraCare North and Cypress Creek hospitals. Over the past 15 years, he has worked with individuals with substance abuse or dual diagnosis at Memorial Herman Prevention and Recovery Center (PARC) and Palmer Drug Abuse Program. In addition, he is a Certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART) and a Certified Christian Counselor.
He uses various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. He utilizes a strengths-based, person-centered approach to guide his practice. He focuses on improving and enhancing the emotional stability, social well-being, spiritual fitness and physical health of individuals and families. He is passionate about supporting the overall growth, and empowerment of others.
As an LMSW Anthony can see self-pay patients and those under a limited number of insurance and EAP plans.
