Christian Clem

LPC Associate

Christian is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A). He has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management with a minor in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, and Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Christian primarily practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with a healthy dose of Existential and Person-Centered approaches.

Christian became a counselor to help people not only with mental health issues, but also with becoming their authentic selves. Living authentically is a major focus of Existential Therapy, which is what drew Christian to it originally. He has long sought ways to help others be their best, most authentic selves. Now, as an LPC-Associate with Kingwood Counseling Center, he has the tools to offer that help.

Christian primarily works with pre-teens, teens, and adults. His passion is for those living with Autism, ADHD, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder. He also has a heart for the LGBTQ+ community, and he supports marginalized populations to the best of his abilities. In his spare time, Christian enjoys reading, playing video games, and playing tabletop role-playing games. He is currently seeking certification as a Therapeutic Game Master so he can integrate these interests with his counseling practice.

Christian is available for both in-person and virtual sessions. As an LPC-Associate, Christian can see those on a limited number of EAP and insurance panels and can also see those who are self-pay. If you’d like to schedule an appointment with Christian or any of our therapists, please call our office at 281-608-1346. Christian is supervised by Alejandro Galan, M.Ed., LPC-S.
