Draughn Emerson


Draughn completed her bachelor’s degree at Houston Baptist University and received her Master in Social Work degree from the University of Houston. She specializes in Trauma-Informed Therapy, working with patients diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, and those who have experienced domestic violence or other trauma. She has experience in crisis-stabilization utilizing various interventions.
Draughn is a native Houstonian who loves to read. She is married with two children, one bonus daughter and four grandchildren. She also has a pet, a Deer Head Chihuahua named Brooke Lynn. She loves baseball, basketball, and football, with the mighty Saints as her all-time favorite team. An interesting fact about Draughn is she switched careers after 17 years in Oil and Gas to Healthcare in 2011.
As an LMSW Draughn can see patients on a limited number of insurance and EAP panels, along those who are self-pay.
